Validate your assumptions in the hub

DutchBasecamp specialises in organizing “bootcamps”, trade missions and field trips to inspiring startup ecosystems. Our bootcamps are different from the many ‘innovation tourism trips’ that are organised. We offer a program that is beneficial for both the Dutch participants as well as their counterparts in the tech hub we visit. We find a win-win and make it a business development activity for all people involved.

In 2017 and onwards bootcamps will mainly evolve around major tech events since we believe these events are where startups can scale. Next there will be hotseats available for corporates to join these bootcamps, thus giving opportunity not only to gain in depth knowledge of local tech and innovation ecosystems but Dutch frontrunners as well.

Our bootcamps are appreciated as both inspiring and highly effective. We have a wide and deep network in tech hubs among which are (C)VC’s, Dutch entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerator programs, Tech events, Dutch employees working for global tech companies, universities, and so on.

Previous Bootcamps

During previous bootcamps in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 we connected our participants with LinkedIn, Stanford, StartX, Facebook, Twitter, AirBNB, Box,  Cisco, Salesforce, Runway Incubator, NestGSV, RocketSpace, TechShop, Robot Block Party, Wearable World, Google, Square, 500Startups, HelloStartups, Bootup Ventures, Cloudera, Splunk, Kaggle, RadiumOne, Double Dutch and many many more.

One of the goals is to connect Dutch companies to international startups that offer solutions which will solve their business challenges and provide them with a competitive advantage. Please the short video below for an impression of our last “Dutch Launching Customer Event” in Runway Incubator in San Francisco, during which the Dutch executives were personally matched to US startups. Mayor van der Laan of Amsterdam opened this evening.
